Waiting on Wednesday is a weekly event hosted by Jill @ Breaking the Spine
The book I chose for the week is... Clockwork Prince
"The Infernal Devices is a series of prequels to The Mortal Instruments series, set in 19’th century London. The story concerns 16-year-old orphan Tessa Gray, whose quiet life is thrown into turmoil when her older brother Nathaniel suddenly vanishes, leaving her alone. Her search for him leads her into Victorian-era London’s dangerous supernatural underworld, where warlocks throw masked balls for half-demon Downworlders. When Tessa discovers that she herself is a Downworlder, she must come to trust her natural enemies, the demon-killing Shadowhunters, if she ever wants to learn to control her powers and find her brother. Torn between the beautiful Will, a Shadowhunter who isn’t what he seems, and the devoted Jem, whose own deadly secret is slowly destroying him, Tessa must draw on all her strength to save her brother and keep herself alive in this deadly new world."
I recently read Clockwork Angel and I really did enjoy it.
I know that this book was published in September, but I still have to get my copy...
The book is about creatures that are not human but look human, vampires, half angel half humans, half demons half humans. I know what you're thinking, its just another vampire book, but its not, the story is set in 19th century London and if you love historical novels you'll love this.
The characters are all different and its something new and different to read.
If you've read Clockwork Angel then I'm sure that, just like me, you cant wait for this one!

Hey there!!!
A friend suggested the first book to me and I just loved it, so I'm looking forward to reading the next installment...
Well I live in South Africa and speak Afrikaans. There is a word in Afrikaans that is "fantasties" and it means fantastic. So I heard a few people saying something was "fantasmagories" and I loved the word so much! It actually means something like fantastical :)
Thanks for visiting and hope to see you soon!
