The Amityville Horror
Let me just start by saying that I read the book during the day, I think if I read it at night I wouldn’t be able to go to sleep!
The book is scary in ways you can’t imagine, it really freaks you out, but I’d recommend this book to anyone looking for a good, scary read.
The book is much like the movie and revolves around the Lutz family who move to their new, fantastic (or so they think) house in Amityville.
But when they have the house blessed, things start going crazy.
The fact that this IS all true makes you shiver even more! Also the way these demonic creatures “communicate” with little Missy is freaky, and the thought of it all makes me want to crawl under a blanket and not look around in the dark ever again.
One thing is for sure, if I lived in that house I wouldn’t be able to stay there that long!
The book is written like a diary for the 28 days that the Lutz’s stayed in the house, and the events just get creepier as the days go by.
Really a must read if you’re into things like true ghost stories and things like that.
