Review on Hex Hall

I just finished reading the first instalment of Hex Hall, and I really did love it.

Its not all about vampires like most young adult books are these days, and other than that it was light and easy to read.

The story is about Sophie, who’s a witch but shows her powers to humans and therefore gets sent to yet another school, this time a school for people like her, called Hecate Hall, commonly known among the students as Hex Hall.

We learn more about Sophie as the story progresses and I learnt to really like her. She wasn’t this al together ravishingly beautiful girl that you couldn’t relate to.

Of course she falls in love with the totally wrong guy and makes enemies of the most popular girls in school right off the bat, and her best friend just happens to be a vampire with a passion for pink.

But nothing is really as it seems, and as Sophie gets to know her powers and her surroundings we get to see what really goes on in Hex Hall, and what all the other students are really up to.

If you’ve read this one, let me know what you think!
